ETHICAL BEEKEEPING
Our honeys are harvested in the Sierra de Irta Natural Park, a protected area where mountain and sea come together to form a vibrant Mediterranean ecosystem.
The bees gather nectar from rosemary, thyme, lavender, and orange blossom, crafting a delicate, aromatic honey — a genuine expression of Castellón’s coastal nature.
SIERRA DE IRTA
At Mos de Bresca, we produce organic honey harvested in the natural surroundings of the Sierra de Irta, a protected park that combines cliffs, pine forests, and aromatic shrubs along the shores of the Mediterranean. Our hives are located in this unique coastal enclave of Castellón, where the sea breeze and wild flora give our honey its fresh and distinctive character.
We work by hand, respecting the natural cycle of the bees and avoiding any excessive heating or filtering. This way, we preserve its purity, floral aromas, and all its natural properties. Each harvest reflects the botanical richness of Irta — rosemary, thyme, lavender, and orange blossom, depending on the flowering of each season.
Our honey retains all its natural properties because it is neither filtered, reheated, nor pasteurized. Moreover, we produce it according to European organic standards.
We have our own extraction and packaging room, allowing us to ensure the utmost care throughout this entirely artisanal process.
